Rail Tour Cancelled

Following the collapse of the Broadmeadow Estuary viaduct north of Malahide on the evening of Friday 21st August and the extended period that the main Belfast Dublin line is to be closed for re-construction, it was inevitable that "The Twelve Counties Railtour" planned for 3rd October 2009 would not be running as originally envisaged.
Conscious that many booked passengers have already made travel and accommodations plans, discussions were quickly begun with NIR to arrange an alternative 'Tour of the North', using the RPSI stock and NIR GM locomotive. However with now only a month to the planned tour date and with NIR still being unable to confirm arrangements we feel we have no choice other than to CANCEL THE TOUR. All fares received will now be refunded.
We appologise sincerely and hope you understand that we have done everything within our control to try and put in place alternative arrangements.
